About the site
The English site was developed on the academic year 2004-2005 to
share our knowledge and activities with those interested in other
countries. The main idea is that we believe human life is valuable
and we are trying to do whatever we can to save it. Iran has had
earthquakes with a lot of casualties in recent years though the
magnitude of quakes were less than 7 R. One of the main reasons is
lack of knowledge on how to be prepared for such events. Our aim is
to increase this knowledge and awareness. We are also a member of
NDYS which is natural disaster youth summit which was first
developed by an enthusiastic group of Japanese teachers.
As the site is developed for students and
teachers, we are defining activities related to different aspects of
an earthquake. Some of the activities are directly taken from NDYS (
natural disaster youth summit) site.
