October Activities

• Making earthquake (NDYS) board to introduce the project in school

• Drawing the plan of the school building

• Building a simple equipment to monitor magnetic field of earth and its changes

• Forming rescue team and prediction team at school

November Activities

• A big campaign at school to gather money and other things for earthquake victims of Pakistan. Omran is a small school with 60 students yet they could collect 200 dollars mainly from last year earthquake team who were interested in the project.

• Making earthquake bags for Kashmir students and sending Mehraban ( cat ambassador to Pakistan) with them. In these activities we have to thank Mrs Mohammadrabi who is always ready to help in such occasions. you can see her in the last photo.  Here are some pictures. • Hosting  Dragon at school

Early in the morning Hosna took the dragon to elementary school.  At school kids were extremely happy to see the dragon and were competing to take it .Here are some photos. To see a larger view click on photo:

               

Then the green Dragon went to Omran guidance school nearby. There the students were playing in the yard. The weather was quite cold. Dragon told the story of NDYS for them. Here are some photos. To see a larger view click on photo:

             

And finally Drangon reached Omran-e- Andisheh high school. Here except for the first graders all students knew about the project and just were happy to have the dragon among themselves. Dragon visited all classes. Then went to the principals office who is a very kind lady. You can see Omran's principal along with  the vice principal who also is a great help in the last photo.
